Dear Potential Donor / Sponsor:

The Jamaica Lacrosse Association (JLA) a grassroots organization founded to support the development of Lacrosse in Jamaica. The JLA also fields Men's and Women's National Teams for international competitions. All of these activities are self-funded by the JLA members, players, and philanthropic donations. There is a massive need for financial support due to the lack of infrastructure for the sport of Lacrosse in Jamaica.

The Men's National Team, currently ranked 13th in the world after a 7-1 performance in the 2018 World Championships.  While lacking financial support, the team is very talented and contains many heralded players who have competed or are competed at high level Division I lacrosse programs like Syracuse, Ohio State, Maryland, and UMBC.  The team simply needs financial support to make the trip a reality.

This year's World Lacrosse Championships are being held at San Diego State University.  Teams are being housed in the dorms on campus.  The per/player and coach room and board  cost is over $2,000 per team member, as a result, the cost of simply housing and feeding the team is over $50,000.  We need help covering that lofty expense.
