Organizations like Jacobs Missionaries, Inc. can provide these individuals and families with wrap-around services that offer both immediate and long-term advantages, helping everyone thrive and succeed. A huge need still exists in that socio-economic circumstances or micro-aggressive interactions from external influences continue to create friction for many affected by a global crisis, many of whom only want a chance to be better and do better to change their circumstances. We find there is a severe lack in trusted sources of necessities to cover all the issues within our community here in Georgia. Additionally, other barriers individuals run into include not having the ability to get out of their situation due to lack of resources. This shows the need for our organization. We provide many programs that distribute assistance needed to positively move individuals from unemployment/underemployment and homelessness to career success and homeownership. Jacobs Missionaries, Inc. brings the education aspect combined with awareness to the people and other organizations in our community. Our ultimate goal of Jacobs Missionaries, Inc. is to increase participation in policy-making that results in equitable policies to improve the quality of life for all homeless individuals. Our goal is to not only assist with creating stable environments for those in need but also equip them with the resources and skills necessary to empower themselves and rise above their misfortunes.
