IZ Adaptive has been highly recognized as a revolutionary brand of clothing that is both stylish and functional for people that live with a physical disability.  We sell  B to C to our online clients globally through izadaptive.com This type of clothing has now become a new category in the fashion world which I unknowingly helped to pioneer.  Major studies have shown that 1.3 billion people globally live with a physical disability and that this market will be worth $350 billion globally within the next few years. Major brands are beginning to enter this space, with small offerings. We are seen as the thought leaders in this growing untapped market and have been featured in countless major global media publications such as Forbes, Vogue Business, The Washington Post to name just a few.  Now with our proven concept, and after producing in Canada with high labour/material costs, our production is being produced off shore enabling better pricing, allowing for quicker scaling and expansion of our offering.

 

In 2020 I was asked to do a TED Talk around this ground breaking work and how I started it titled Re Designing Fashion. In 2022, I won 2 awards for Innovation and Social Impact. IZ Adaptive has been on exhibit at major museums and shared with university’s and colleges globally. The company holds patented assets for a cut of pant that is safer to wear and available for license. Last year IZ Adaptive had good growth, looking positive and building. We currently have a tight small team which I'm looking to grow with funding. 

I see great potential for IZ Adaptive as we are at the beginning of the curve for this untapped category and IZ has a strong presence already.
