Introduction
IServe offers a safe marketplace to help people find opportunities to serve and donate to communities and nonprofits they are passionate toward.
 
Team
We have 4 employees, including two founders.  Conner Leavitt (President and Co-Founder https://www.linkedin.com/in/conner-leavitt-34417210a/)  has extensive data science, marketplace, and social media revenue experience.  Whitney Leavitt (CMO and Co-Founder) comes with 5 years of marketing, branding and design experience, she has built a personal brand over tiktok with 1.8 M followers.  We also have extensive experience in the positions of VP of Engineering (Nelson Griffiths https://www.linkedin.com/in/nelson-griffiths/) who has successfully built the backend of one other startup, and VP of UX (Chase Mortensen https://www.linkedin.com/in/chasekmortensen/) who has extensive experience in building and designing the frontend of websites 
 
Problem
We are nearing the end of the year 2022 and t is still difficult to find local charities service projects that support communities people care about. Also, The pandemic forced nonprofit organizations to shift to virtual fundraising to survive, and it worked.  Last year, individual donors gave over $300 Billion Dollars to charities, most of it coming from digital giving.

Most of the 1.8 million nonprofits are finding it difficult to connect with the expansive and philanthropic Millennial and Gen Z donors which make up 50% of the population  

Solution
Our webpage will not just the easiest-to-use in the market, but it also includes an all inclusive experience for the user. The webpage will include the ability to explore nonprofits, charities, and service projects. Each organization will have a trust score that we generate, as well as enable users to rsvp, donate, and learn all on a single platform. 

 
Business Model
Iserve has four potential revenue streams broken into two segments of Users and Organizations.

USERS:
1. Personalized ads
2.Premium account allowing for additional features (i.e. posting your own service project)
3.Otherwise freemium

ORGANIZATIONS:
1. Fee to rise in search result rank
2. Finders fee for collecting donations 
3. Premium account allowing access to analytics and data
 
Competition
We compete with organizations such as CharityNavigator, Watchdog, VolunteerMatch, JustServe, GiveGabb, and volunteer.com. However, all of these organizations specialize in either trust scores, donations, or service projects and Iserve will provide all of these services with an improved and engaging user experience
 
 
Market Potential
The TAM is $75 B and the addressable market is $4B. Also, in 2021 there were ~20M people who volunteered for service projects. So, there is significant opportunity in this space.  
 
Traction
We have self-funded up to $25K and have built out a Skelton product.  
 
Funding Ask
We are seeking $500 K ($250 K from this platform) to allow us to transition from a Skelton product to a deployable MVP.  This will help us acquire users, establish presence in the market, and advertise our product. the 500K will provide 12 months of runway.
 
Projections
We anticipate having a MVP deployed within 6 months of funding.
