Invent This! is a crowdsourced idea marketplace that seeks to connect dreamers and idea-makers with parties that can bring those ideas to life. Submitters submit an idea for free, to keep the friction point low for the common individual. Ideas are then vetted, and those that get through are posted to the marketplace with a teaser line and a blurred out description. Entrepreneurs, manufacturers, tinkerers, and others can then unlock an idea for $1.00 to read the full description and the idea submitter’s 10-year royalty ask, from 2% - 8%. These same parties also have the option to purchase a monthly membership instead of buying ideas one at a time, whereby they can view all idea submissions in the marketplace. Certain actions in the system trigger certain obligations. For example, the $1.00 unlock fee triggers certain Terms that must be accepted before the purchase can be made. The $4.99 commercialization purchase triggers Commercialization terms. The raise will fund ops & development.
