Aligning law enforcement with the courts to consolidate the siloed data set for the $50 billion of fine only misdemeanor warrants o/s for illumination and resolution.

It may surprise you to learn that law enforcement does not have access to a very key data set that would allow for safer and more productive policing. There is approximately $50 billion in uncollected criminal debt with this data sitting siloed in the thousands of originating courts across the country. Typically, a peace officer will have access to only its jurisdictions originating courts outstanding fine only misdemeanor warrants (FMO's) through a call to dispatch during a law enforcement event, while over 50% of any jurisdiction's FMO's are held by defendants that do not reside in that jurisdiction. These "stranded" warrants are problematic to the collection efforts of the originating courts and the associated collection agencies, and iCONNECTGov has developed a solution that syncs up law enforcement with the objectives of the originating courts, whereby the larger the participation, the more productive the platform becomes. This mutual benefit for all participating jurisdictions will drive the networking effect, which has been demonstrated in the local government arena for proven new technologies that solve a systemic problem.

Establishing the Warrant Resolution Network (i.WRN) application, which consolidates this data set for immediate resolution in the field, avoids the need for making an arrest and has the potential for illuminating the vast amount of stranded warrants. Furthermore, the i.WRN application serves as the foundation for the four other symbiotic applications designed to leverage the i.WRN installation in the peace officer vehicles. Establishing this footprint enables the deployment of policing solutions that cut across all jurisdictional boundaries and will enable communication protocols between policing agencies, 911 Emergency Centers, and the public, that are heretofore unavailable. The iCONNECTGov middleware application is hardware agnostic and housed on the Microsoft Azure Government Cloud for FBI CJIS compliance purposes, and can be installed on any patrol vehicles hardware configuration. The iCONNECTGov platform is next generation infrastructure oriented technology that connects local government initiatives within a single platform.
