I am building a fitness center with a heavy emphasis on training and healing using my Naturopathic Medicine and nutritional supplementation protocols...
I have been in this industry since 1988 and started my personal training business right out of college back in 1991 in Southern California. I've seen all kinds of fads come and go and there is nothing like sticking to the basics and continually studying to keep up with the advancement of the sciences. I have a heavy emphasis on nutrition as I became an N.D. Naturopathic Doctor back in 2016. This is the study of natural medicine and various protocols in the areas of training, controlling inflammation, insulin resistance, parasitology, immunology, digestive health, and maximizing recovery from stress with various nutrition and supplement protocols etc... This facility will have an emphasis on the education of our clientele/members in the above mentioned areas. Our "training classes" will be unique in the fact that we will be doing most of them but not all, as a part of the membership. From kickboxing, to stretching, specific body part training (chest-shoulders-Legs, etc...) with rehabilitation techniques, along with nutrition and correct supplementation seminars will be a part of the program our members sign up for.
Utilizing my last 25+ years of experience in this industry I have some ideas here that only a hand full of facilities are utilizing as far as I have seen, and I have worked in facilities from New Jersey to California to now in Texas. I also have a few fitness inventions as one has a full 20 year utility patent and another one
in patent pending.
The current location I am in negotiations with currently is a turnkey operation as the space used to be a training facility.
The location already has turf laid down, showers and bathrooms, and a separate room for my kickboxing endeavors and my power point nutrition seminars.
