              We have developed a patent-pending product that covers windows and doors in the event of wildfires, potentially saving thousands of homes, billions of dollars in rebuild and, at the same time protecting the lives of occupants & firefighters. 75% of homes are lost in wildfires because the windows crack from the heat, let the fire and flames into the house and they are burned completely from the inside,  destroying the lives of homeowners who can lose everything and  sometimes taking lives of firemen and occupants alike. We can prevent this by blocking the heat and the flames as well as preventing air (which carries flames) from entering through doorways and windows, thus preventing homes from burning with all the consequential damage and loss. ASTM testing has proven better than expected allowing for an additional 30 minutes to evacuate the occupants of a house, especially the infirm, the elderly and the sick.
              There are 8.4 million homes in California alone that are subject to high wildfire potential designation by the State Fire Marshall. Everyone of those is consequently subject to the whims of insurance companies. Because of the considerable reduction in risk, we can help with retaining, acquiring or lowering insurance rates to make our products even more cost-effective. 
              If we look at 0.01% of this as the potential market, that amounts to 8400 homes at an average of $30K per house , creating a potential market of $252m.  We plan marketing to high-end homes in CA initially for those that can afford to self-insure through retrofitting and expect a trickle-down effect into mid-priced homes as word spreads, taking on other states all over the country. Our shutters provide an additional benefit of high security, as well as energy-efficiency for both heating and cooling.
