Hyperion Public is the neighborhood Pub in Silver Lake.
Opened in 2012, Hyperion Public is a very popular neighborhood restaurant and bar located just east of Hollywood, CA. in a part of town called Silver Lake.
I, Jonathan K. Speaks, aka., Speaks, have been in the bar business since 2009 and know this business inside and out. Currently, Hyperion Public does around $1.4M a year in sales, which is NOT a lot, in fact, after Covid-19, market crashes, cryptocurrency crashes, writers strikes, actors strikes, etc,., I'm just happy we survived. NOW, I believe I can double that by rebranding, revamping and re-starting... Without partners. I believe doing this will make the business even more popular and highly profitable taking the business AND the community to the next level. This is a turn-key deal in which I already have the keys.

As President Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, “What America needs now is a drink.” Hyperion Public has always been there to help. Hyperion Public has always been that beloved establishment in the community since its opening in 2012. It has an amazing and loyal customer base and is a popular destination known for its seasonal menu changes, fantastic cocktails, and warm, loving atmosphere. However, recent events have led to the need for a buyout of the current partnership.
Unfortunately, some members of the original partnership have been caught stealing money and another has abandoned the business for personal reasons. As the most popular member of the partnership, with a deep connection to Hyperion Public's success story and the community, my plan is to step up as the sole owner and take the business to the next level and into the future. Not just the future of the community, but the future of the City of LA.
To achieve this goal successfully while increasing revenue and enhancing the business's value even further, I will need to rebrand and revamp Hyperion Public. This will not only create a needed distance from Hyperion Publics past negative associations created by former partnership, but also provide an opportunity to refresh and elevate the overall experience for the community and amazingly loyal customers.
Currently, one unique aspect that sets Hyperion Public apart is that it is one of very few "Black Owned" bars in or near the Hollywood area of Los Angeles. Embracing this distinction will be an essential part of the rebranding strategy by highlighting diversity promoting unity, humanity and love.
