We represent a vertically integrated food company boasting proprietary genetics, over two decades of production and processing experience, and two established grocery store brands.  Our primary revenue stream derives from supplying our novel ingredients to food brands for inclusion in their product lines. From vegetable protein isolates to flours and vegetable oils, our diverse range of offerings are derived from commodities such as faba beans, sunflowers, buckwheat, hempseed, lentils, and flaxseed.

Our business model is built on three core functions:

  1. We pioneer genetics engineered to enhance farmer success and yield superior grain quality.
  2. We procure this premium-grade grain, processing it in our two state-of-the-art facilities to create a variety of ingredients.
  3. We distribute these ingredients to end consumers or utilize them in crafting our own branded products.

Our  team comprises industry veterans, including three Ph.D. plant breeders, six seasoned agronomists, four process engineers, two food scientists, six sales professionals, twenty proficient processing plant operators, and a group of visionary owners.

Research and development has been the key to our growth and thanks to our exclusive genetic advancements, we have secured contracts with several Fortune 500 corporations and fostered partnerships with a network of 150 farms spanning Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, North Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, and South Dakota.

Notably, we recently secured a substantial three-year, $6.9 million grant to spearhead the development of a groundbreaking 95% hempseed protein isolate, heralded as a global first. Link

Presently, we are actively seeking financing, ideally through a debt round or purchase order financing. However, we remain open to exploring equity funding opportunities. Our funding journey commenced with a successful Series A convertible debt round in 2021, raising $2.5 million at a $17 million post-money valuation. Subsequently, we executed an unpriced S.A.F.E., securing an additional $2.5 million to be determined based on future equity rounds. These funds were judiciously allocated to procure the essential processing equipment and develop the required operations to produce vegetable protein isolates.

In light of the unexpectedly rapid and substantial demand for our innovative hemp protein isolate, we are raising funds in order to ensure sufficient working capital to meet this growth.
