I have grown a small used pallet business into a fully operational lumber mill that can produce our own lumber with our 7 - 10x3 kilns to dry and heat treat our lumber.
We are working in ISPM approval for registration. I did $626,000 sales revenue.year one and Just signed a yearly PO for over $900,000 revenue a from our veggie farming custmer who is at the top of the food chain forn asiain produce growers in country. We are building 100,000 produce Crates for this project 75% margin. We know the customer needs extra 200,000 units per year and we plan to obtain thes rest orders next year.
This is our second year. isn't not the only contract we have been offered. We are now the opportunity.
I able to build this order from my slab lumber I have left over from last year.e
We have fork lifts , trucks , trailer , saw mill, scragg mill, gang saw mill, automated board stackers. Pay loaders Excavator and Logs , just off the 403 highway between Windsor and toronto. We have labour living on site, acres of log bushes to pull from and a process that can produce for example 500 1x3x12 strapping per hour.
We need the capital for:
Labour
Custom Assembly jigs and fasteners
Upgrade dust collection
Saw blades
Cushion for any (contractor work if we run into break down)
3 phase power hook up 400amp (currently run on 200 kw diesel generator and 100 Amp service with phase converter in shop.
We have a diverse home in the lumber market. We learned that Chinese wood products are struggling to meet North American lead time and shelf life required dead lines and shipping demands they can not trust the imported materials to show up on time consistently, Even the chines3e farmers understand the risk as produce has little time to get packaged and delivered to market.
Keep in mind the same farm has just installed a 1.5 million dollar sweet potatoe washing line and will need alot more crates
I previously worked for the packaging company installing the equipment as I walked them into this as an easy sale. They are happy with my efforts to set the sale up that they can push my wood crating in to 1000's of farms across the country
