HMDmd has developed and commercialized a purpose-built surgical wearable display that helps surgeons operate ergonomically and manage multi-modality imaging in the operating room. We currently have commercial distribution partnerships with two market leading medical device companies, Carl Zeiss Meditech and Karl Storz Endoscopy. Current version is FDA and CE Marked and being used in operating rooms for neurosurgery, ophthalmology, robotic surgery and soft-tissue surgery. Engineering efforts are ongoing to develop the second generation wireless platform.
