helping victims of domestic violence

I am starting  a rehab/remodel company providing resources for VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE that are not available  today, providing help in  fixing property damage caused by the abuser from broken windows to installing new doors, patching holes in walls, things that would put a victim at risk of losing their housing, rent/utilitie  assistance, most importantly a stronger support system! I am a victim myself and found these are things that NEED to be addressed in the community, a huge factor in determining whether or to leave the situation is based on whether or not they are financially able to do so, for example in my case my abuser destroyed a rental because i left, leaving me with more than $5000 in damages, unable to pay rent,  in turn leading to possible eviction, no funds to move, and of course damage to credit which makes it very hard to qualify for anything such as renting, purchasing, which are often immediately needed! I'm working with the victims center, famil  justice center, lawyers, local churches, and shelters laying the foundation for recovery and obtaining stability. I want victims to know they have somewhere to turn for help and hands on assistance. Every case is different and I'd like to remove the "one size fits all" lable associated with abuse.
