Often parents are referred to clinical services when their child struggles with emotions or behavior simply because they cannot afford to pay for parenting support out of pocket. When a child is diagnosed, the parent is more likely to access medical insurance which will pay for therapy/services. Clinicians will diagnose a child with a "mild" diagnosis just to be able to access the funding.
I am on a mission to create an option for any parent who truly wants to be the best parent they can be for their child while having access to the least restrictive services and keeping parents at the forefront. No-Problem Parents are at the forefront when therapy or other clinical services are recommended and agreed upon; the parent feels empowered to initiate the clinical services and learn how to best support their child receiving clinical care. And the parent themselves will receive the education and support they require to ensure their child receives the best outcome from the clinical service and are equipped to support the child at home.
I left a successful 20-year career as an In-Home Family Counselor and Clinical Program Coordinator to start this parent coaching company because I saw the mental health system change in a way that was creating dependency on other people and programs to raise children. Parents were confused, and often not in the know as to what their child was learning from the clinical services and didn't know how to support their child at home. Many parents reported not seeing a change in behavior or emotions after months or even years of clinical services.
Through my 30-plus years of working with parents in their homes, children's mental health service providers, and child protective services, I am wholeheartedly sure, that what kids want the most is for their parents to know how to guide, support, and lead them with and without outside help.
I do not believe that having a diagnosis just to access funding through medical insurance should be a parent's only means of affording parenting support. That is why I took a leap of faith and started Hello World, LLC in 2013 and No-Problem Parenting™ in 2019.
After hundreds of hours of meeting with parents in person and virtually, I noticed some common themes in what I was coaching parents. I decided to test out the need and benefits of my coaching and created a "pilot" parenting program. I invited 20 parents to join the 4-week program for a nominal fee. Inviting parents who were struggling with their kid's behavior and parents who were doing well but welcomed parenting support. In addition, some of the parents that went through the program owned companies that served or employed parents and these owners were interested in referring their employees to Hello World, LLC .
The two groups of 10 parents met once a week for one hour. I coached them through a three-step model that was later titled No-Problem Parenting. The program was successful, with a 100% satisfaction rate upon completion and surveying the participants.
I then turned the program into an online on-demand course in an effort to meet any parent's budget and to reach parents nationally. In 2019 the Becoming a No-Problem Parent™ program launched and Hello World began to rebrand to No-Problem Parenting™.
In 2021 I launched the No-Problem Parenting podcast to help spread the word about No-Problem Parenting™ and to my surprise, several providers reached out and requested to be a guest on the podcast.

In September 2022 I published my parenting resource compilation book which includes 21 authors from around the globe who wrote their chapters around the 3 Step No-Problem Parenting™ model. The authors have their own small businesses offering products and services on various topics that help parents and their children. On the day of the book launch, we hit #1 Best Seller on Amazon in 3 Categories.
