Heavenly Twist Cafe & Ice Cream

My partner, Anita has wanted to make homemade Ice Cream since she was a kid. So, we started making it back in 2016, for us and some friends, One of our friends suggested that we start selling it.  So, we rented a space and started making it to sell. That location didn't work out, the gentleman that owned the place, sold it and retired.  It was then recommended that we work with a local diner. We started with them in August, 2017 and continued on until June, 2018 when they closed at their then location. Before they closed we started having some issues with them about selling our smoothies and shakes, verses them selling more of their pop. We were supposed to go with them when they moved, the manager told us to make as much ice cream as we could, so we did. Then right before they opened they told us we're not going to be working with them anymore, which left us stuck with a large ice cream freezer filled to the top.  We tried to open on our own, and ended up picking the wrong location without a kitchen, that needed a lot of work to open and sunk a lot of money into a useless space. we were very unexperienced at knowing what we needed.
We're looking to rent or buy a location that has already been established as a restaurant, cafe, bakery or such. So, that we won't have to install things like gas lines or vent hoods. That can easily be remodeled or things repaired if needed.  We're looking for funding for equipment, such as stoves/ovens, refrigerators, freezers, ice cream makers and other things. We have done many events; Beer Fest, we had a booth and were selling Maple Bacon & Pretzel Ice Creams. Events at the University of Windsor for the Law Department, end of the semester x2. Spitfire event, gave away ice cream to visitors. Catered birthdays and a wedding. We would like to open a cafe and Ice Cream shop, selling pastries, Danishes, sandwiches, ice cream, lunch and dinner.
