Healthcare Automations develops AI-powered technology that helps healthcare organizations grow without continually adding administrative staff. Our flagship platform, Equipia, automates the work between receiving a patient order and getting paid, including reviewing medical records, applying payer-specific rules, identifying missing information, preparing claims, and posting payments.
We began in durable medical equipment, one of healthcare’s most complex and highly regulated markets. Equipia was built by industry operators with more than 20 years of experience managing DME billing and compliance challenges.
Equipia is live today and has processed more than 30,000 claims representing over $7 million in billed charges. On one direct operating account, the platform achieved a 92.6% clean-claim rate, a 27-day median time to payment, and reduced billing overhead by more than 60%.
Customers pay either a recurring platform subscription or a percentage of collections for broader revenue-cycle services. DME is our initial market, but the same infrastructure can expand into other areas of healthcare where clinical documents must be reviewed, payer rules enforced, and payments reconciled.
Our goal is to become the automation infrastructure that allows healthcare organizations to process more patients, reduce costs, and increase revenue without expanding administrative headcount at the same rate.
