My name is Erin Wright, and I am the founder and owner of Harmony Alliance, LLC.  Harmony Alliance is striving to change the delivery of residential mental health and substance abuse services to underserved communities by providing a superior quality of service and care to our clients.   I am excited at the possibility of your organization/fund/trust being able to help lead the way in showing that access to quality mental health and substance abuse services should be available to all and that the quality does not have to be determined by the socioeconomic status of the clients.  The mental health and substance abuse space is a growing space with a high demand for quality services.  Most of the Behavioral Health Residential Facilities that service underserved populations are owned and operated by people who are not in the mental health field. As a mental health therapist who has worked in these types of homes for the last 8 years, serving adults and adolescents, I have seen the significant challenges this poses for successful client outcomes. The ability to implement quality, well-rounded services can easily be derailed by an owner’s lack of understanding regarding the client’s mental health needs and the importance of consistency along with structure. Harmony Alliance seeks to disrupt this industry by creating Behavioral Health Residential Facilities that are owned and operated by mental health professionals. I believe that by utilizing a holistic approach and creating a therapeutic residence and treatment program from the best practices of mental health clients will have more successful outcomes.  It is this difference that I believe will provide for a superior quality of service and care to our clients. More successful outcomes for clients will also benefit the communities that they come from helping to decrease, drug use, untreated mental health needs, criminal activity, and homelessness.
