Introduction to Financial Partners

GW2E, Inc. is a Waste Management, Waste Recycling, and Waste-to-Energy development business. Our primary objective is to implement proven environmentally friendly waste management technologies worldwide to protect the environment and reduce the devastating and harmful impact of municipal solid waste, tires, and medical waste.

GW2E MISSION:
GW2E’s mission is to develop safe, proven, cost effective, environmentally friendly, and sustainable waste management solutions through collection, recycling, production of energy, and production of high-quality end products in order to minimize the need for landfills and incinerators.

PROBLEM SUMMARY:
The Waste to Energy (W2E) objective goes hand in hand with the US and the world’s agenda to clean and maintain a healthy environment for all communities.  Less than 10% of all plastics produced today are being recycled worldwide.  Waste management is a major issue that has been ignored by many developing countries throughout Africa.  To compound this problem, China has recently banned plastic waste imports thus the need to process plastic waste has been intensified across the globe.   Up until 2018, China had been receiving ten million tons of plastic annually from many of the developed countries around the world.  With China’s recent ban on accepting plastic waste imports, the need to process plastic waste has been intensified across the globe.

SOLUTION SUMMARY:
Our Waste to Energy Team seeks to construct state of the art waste processing facilities worldwide. Each facility will be designed to convert municipal solid waste (MSW), waste tires, industrial waste and/or medical waste into clean renewable electricity production.  Each plant will be designed specifically to suit the local waste stream.  Each plant will utilize the most effective and reliable waste-to-energy systems available today exceeding US standards.  This technology will provide a clean and proven waste-to-energy technology capable of processing waste having up to 60% moisture content.  It is not a conventional incineration or “mass burn” technology; it is a proprietary Pyrolytic Gasification combustion process developed and patented in the USA nearly 60 years ago; it provides a near complete level of combustion with virtually no fly ash.

The need for waste management combined with energy needs in Cabo Verde aligns this business model with the USAID ClimateLinks initiative since the primary products are clean energy and environmentally friendly waste management.

WHY WASTE TO ENERGY?
The Republic of Cabo Verde has made huge improvements over the past several years.  Our project can be the showcase for many future projects.  Based on today’s waste production, we expect that the Republic of Cabo Verde will need as many as 4 facilities to process their waste and produce up to 18-20 MW of power to the grid.

The Republic of Cabo Verde, a small nation consisting of nine inhabited islands off the coast of West Africa, has strong democratic and economic institutions and a well-established rule of law which make it an opportune place to do business. These institutions helped Cabo Verde to avoid the worst impacts of the international financial crisis. In fact, Cabo Verde has a projected growth rate of 5.1%. It is currently ranked 2nd in Africa for both low corruption and good governance.

Our team’s strengths are experience, proven methodology & technology, simplified design, use of proven pollution control equipment, higher reliability, capable and proven manufacturing capabilities, short time of construction on the site, and efficient conversion of Waste-to-Energy.  The design will employ features and benefits of modular construction and pre-planned expansion to accommodate additional MSW if required without disruption of operations. Ancillary equipment is included in our equipment costs to efficiently and effectively operate the Facility.

Our system will be designed by notable engineering companies and constructed by well established businesses, such as Siemens.  There is very little fabrication performed at the site.  The “bolt together” design and construction is made to withstand travel and thus produces outstanding quality, easy maintenance, and minimal downtime.  All system components, including the ancillary equipment and spare parts be shipped to the site and will be assembled on site by local contractors under the direction of our design and construction team.  Recycling operations are designed to meet the special needs of the site and the type of waste material delivered.
