Custom home builder. Business ballooned this year. Been in the construction for over 30 years. I had a three year hiatus because of my wife's illness and started back up February on 2021 without resources. Cut overhead drastically and went to home base with internet only lead resource. Did over $2 million in 2021 and 2022 will be over $5 million. Pay for building materials up front so don't carry any debt to suppliers. Have no salesmen as I do that myself. Only build for clients that have the property and either cash or bank financing. Project $10 million in 2023 in new business, Don't hire subcontractors as all work is handled in house, thereby have better quality control. Money will be used as construction fund to PUSH jobs, IE instead of waiting on bank progress draw for each phase, which takes about a week, to start next phase, with funding I can start next phase and as bank draws are paid, put money back into operating account. Can build quality custom home at less cost to client than competitors because of small overhead. Am to the point that I will be opening a small office and hiring a full time secretary/book keeper.
Next phase will to be buying three good used heavy duty trucks, a dump truck and a bobcat with trailer. This equipment will save me renting equipment and save dollars. A loan of $200,000.00 would help me with this process. If it works well for all parties, i would consider a loan for the equipment.
