Increasing the Productivity of Electrical Infrastructure While Accelerating Global Decarbonization

GreenTech Motors Corporation (GTM), together with advanced power electronics partner One-Cycle Control, is developing an integrated High Efficiency Density Decarbonization (HEDD) motor-drive platform designed to increase the productivity of existing electrical infrastructure by simultaneously reducing electricity demand, expanding renewable and battery hosting capacity, improving power quality, and enabling new grid-interactive value opportunities.

We believe one of the world's greatest infrastructure challenges is no longer simply generating more electricity—it is making far better use of the electrical infrastructure that already exists.

As artificial intelligence, electrified transportation, industrial automation, data centers, water infrastructure, HVAC, refrigeration, and manufacturing continue to increase electricity demand, utilities worldwide face growing constraints on transmission and distribution capacity. Building new electrical infrastructure often requires years of permitting and billions of dollars of investment.

We believe the fastest, lowest-cost path toward accelerating electrification and decarbonization is to increase the productivity of existing electrical infrastructure.

That is the mission of GreenTech Motors.

The Opportunity

Electric motor systems consume approximately half of the world's electricity.

Most of those motors still rely on slotted iron-core architectures developed more than a century ago. While continually improved, these designs inherently introduce magnetic losses, reactive power demand, additional heat generation, torque ripple, acoustic noise, and increased weight. Conventional motor systems are also typically paired with separate variable frequency drives and were not designed to support today's increasingly dynamic electrical grids.

GTM's HEDD platform takes a fundamentally different systems approach.

Rather than optimizing only the motor, we integrate a slotless, ironless permanent magnet motor with advanced grid-interactive power electronics to improve the performance of the entire motor-drive system.

The platform is designed to:

  • Reduce electricity consumption
  • Improve overall motor-drive efficiency
  • Reduce thermal losses
  • Reduce reactive power demand
  • Improve power quality
  • Increase usable capacity of existing electrical infrastructure
  • Support renewable energy and battery integration
  • Reduce greenhouse gas emissions
  • Create opportunities for additional customer value through emerging grid-interactive applications
Our objective is not simply to build a better motor.

Our objective is to help transform motor systems from passive electrical loads into intelligent infrastructure assets that contribute to a cleaner, more resilient, and more productive electrical grid.

Why Now

Several powerful global trends are converging simultaneously:

  • Rapid growth of AI data centers
  • Accelerating electrification across transportation and industry
  • Increasing renewable energy deployment
  • Battery energy storage expansion
  • Utility grid modernization
  • Growing concern over electrical capacity constraints
Together, these trends are creating demand for technologies that reduce electricity consumption while increasing the effective utilization of existing electrical infrastructure.

We believe GTM is positioned at the intersection of these transformational markets.

Initial Commercial Markets

Our commercialization strategy begins with industrial and commercial applications where customers experience high electricity costs, constrained electrical capacity, and attractive economic returns from efficiency improvements.

Initial target markets include:

  • AI data centers
  • HVAC and heat pump systems
  • Commercial and industrial refrigeration
  • Municipal water and wastewater pumping
  • Agricultural irrigation
  • Industrial pumping
  • Fans and blowers
  • Air compressors
  • Microgrids
  • Island grids
These markets represent billions of dollars of annual equipment investment and significant opportunities for energy savings, infrastructure optimization, and emissions reduction.

Technology Differentiation

The HEDD platform combines several complementary innovations:

  • Slotless, ironless permanent magnet motor architecture
  • High efficiency density design
  • Compact, lightweight construction
  • Integrated advanced motor-drive electronics
  • Active power factor correction
  • Dynamic reactive power management
  • Bidirectional power conversion capability
  • Grid-interactive functionality
Rather than competing solely on motor efficiency, GTM seeks to improve the performance, flexibility, and productivity of the entire electrical system.

Commercial Strategy

Our initial focus is on brownfield retrofit opportunities where existing motors require replacement or facilities seek to reduce electricity costs and relieve electrical capacity constraints without major infrastructure expansion.

Successful retrofit demonstrations are expected to support broader adoption through OEM partnerships and greenfield equipment integration.

This phased commercialization strategy is intended to accelerate market adoption while reducing customer implementation risk.

Business Model

Potential revenue opportunities include:

  • Integrated motor-drive system sales
  • OEM licensing
  • Industrial retrofit projects
  • Utility efficiency programs
  • Infrastructure modernization initiatives
  • Renewable energy projects
  • Grid modernization programs
As electricity markets continue evolving, we believe customers will increasingly value solutions that simultaneously reduce operating costs while improving electrical infrastructure productivity.

Competitive Position

We are not simply developing another electric motor.

We are developing an integrated electrical infrastructure platform designed to help customers accomplish more with the electrical infrastructure they already own.

Our vision is to enable facilities to:

  • Lower operating costs
  • Increase electrical capacity without major infrastructure expansion
  • Improve resilience
  • Accelerate renewable energy integration
  • Reduce carbon emissions
  • Improve long-term return on electrical infrastructure investments

Progress

GreenTech Motors has assembled an experienced engineering team and is working with One-Cycle Control to advance the HEDD platform toward commercial demonstration. Our development has been strengthened through California clean-energy innovation programs and extensive customer discovery with utilities, industrial users, and prospective commercialization partners.

We are now seeking strategic investors who share our vision of building the next generation of intelligent electrical infrastructure.

Together, we believe we can help increase the productivity of the world's electrical infrastructure while accelerating global decarbonization.
