There are increasing numbers of independent bedroom music producers. Monitoring music for production requires flat monitoring environment. That is achieved by using “monitors” that are built specifically with production in mind. Best monitors for music production will have flattest sound for true sound monitoring.
Problem exists where the room is not tuned or treated for monitoring. Room sound treatment is the best option for music production, but it can cost hundreds to thousands of dollars and can be very cumbersome.
