Hello Everyone, 

I am the owner of a pregnancy and postpartum agency and am seeking to expand our existing services, which currently provide individualized care and support in private homes, into a comprehensive pregnancy and postpartum wellness center.

With over 30 years of experience in the private childcare industry, I have focused on the initial 3 to 6 months postpartum for the past ten years. I possess expertise as a master Newborn Care Specialist and a Newborn Sleep Specialist. My intuitive understanding of the needs of infants enables me to effectively "communicate" with them in various contexts. By addressing the deeper needs of newborns and their families, we can contribute to a more significant transformation that exceeds merely fulfilling basic survival requirements. This holistic approach provides families with a solid foundation from day one, addressing their physical and emotional needs and fostering positive societal change. Over the years, I have observed a substantial gap in the support available to growing families in the United States, highlighting the pressing need for alternative holistic support and community resources.

Both men and women require varying forms of support during this time.

My observations have revealed that, while the medical field excels in managing medical situations, it often lacks the education and expertise to address non-medical but functional, emotional, and physical needs for both the birthing and non-birthing parents, as well as for newborns. Furthermore, the medical system does not provide sufficient community support in critical areas such as breastfeeding, parent-and-me classes, pregnancy expectations, car seat safety, respectful parenting education, product guidance, and nutritional support during conception, pregnancy, and postpartum recovery. This is where my vision and expertise become essential. By consolidating various services under one roof, we can significantly enhance the support available to families as they navigate this complex journey.

I aim to establish a physical wellness center encompassing approximately 5,000 to 10,000 square feet. 

This facility will feature, but will not be limited to, the following:

- Multiple rooms designated for private one-on-one sessions
- A bodywork room
- A spacious area capable of hosting gatherings, educational lectures, and group classes for up to 100 participants
- Small, intimate areas for informal conversation
- A cafeteria offering foods and beverages that promote health during conception, pregnancy, and postpartum phases
- A retail area showcasing high-quality products such as blankets, books, swaddles, bouncers, car seats, strollers, toys, and more
- An herbal apothecary specifically tailored to support the pregnancy and postpartum experience
- Treatment rooms for spa services
- A dedicated play area for children, supervised while their parents attend sessions

I am in the process of recruiting professionals in the following fields:

- Mental health practitioners specializing in maternal health
- Lactation consultants
- Occupational and physical therapists specializing in newborns through age five
- Massage therapists proficient in prenatal and postnatal techniques
- Yoga instructors with expertise in pre-and postnatal practices, as well as infant and child yoga
- Nutritionists specializing in pregnancy and postpartum nutrition
- Parenting educators
- CPR instructors
- Birth doulas
- Herbalists
- Chiropractors trained in the Webster Technique and pediatric care
- Osteopathic physicians capable of assessing and treating patients

I seek to raise capital to bridge the gap between medical care and holistic support, facilitating assistance for families from pre-conception through the first 3 to 4 years postpartum. Additionally, I am open to exploring franchising opportunities for this concept.
