In the first month of rollout, more than 50 venues joined our Sports Media Network, giving their patrons access to an app that interacts with live sports, including MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and NCAA events. Fans can predict game outcomes, compete with others in the venue, and view real-time leaderboards showing scores of every player.
The app is free for patrons to download and use, and the competition makes watching games more interactive and exciting. Fans can engage from venue TVs, their own home screens, hotel TVs, or even stadium jumbotrons. The experience drives frequent use and provides advertisers with valuable impressions. Our first advertiser is Fanatics, the world’s largest sports apparel company, which uses the platform to offer team-specific merchandise to fans during the games they are already watching. With templates for all major sports and upcoming expansion into soccer and Formula 1 racing, the opportunity for broader engagement is growing quickly.
