Creating a marketplace for gamers where new gamers can hire veteran gamers to help them through the start of the game. Veterans can set up hourly rates/packages to entice new gamers to hire them. Fiverr for gamers = Gamerr

Gamers will hire each other to help them through quests, levels, dungeons and more!

MMORPG stands for Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. Hundreds of millions of players subscribe to these games monthly, and are willing to pay big bucks to level up and orient to their universe. This is a HUGE market!

As a long-time, avid gamer, I've always experienced the struggle between new characters and veteran characters. Beta-testers and original players always seem to dominate the MMO and can make-or-break the experience for newbies. I want to merge the gap between the two societies and bring peace and peace-of-mind to gaming communities. This project has been in my mind for years, and is something my Dad and I were trying to work on before I had kids. I want to surprise him now with a working plan and website to show him what our creative minds can build. This marketplace will offer new gamers a chance to utilize veteran knowledge, skill, and even protection in order to start them off strong on their new gaming adventure. It will create friendships, alliances and networks between the old and young, and allow veteran gamers to earn some well-deserved cash for their expertise and hours played. Like Upwork and Fiverr, there will be purchasable credits veterans can use to bid on newbie requests, and we will receive a cut of all transactions created within our platform.

This funding will allow me to hire a freelancer to create the platform, test it, and market it. Customer base will be US/Canada/Japan/China/Indonesia/Malaysia/India age range 18-40 mostly male. I have been interviewing freelancers to help me with this project and they have all been very excited about the concept - as am I! Here is the usage/functionality of the marketplace:

Usage steps and functions for experienced gamers

* Signup to create an "experienced gamer user account" on the platform
* Create profile with photo and cover letter that describes what games they are experienced on... Just like upwork freelancer profiles (advertise themselves)

* Create packages just like on Fiverr ‘2 Hours’ ‘5 Hours’ ‘10 Hours’ or ‘20 Levels’ ‘Will  complete beginner area’ ‘will help you complete 25 quests’ etc

*ability to spend points or ‘connects’ on new gamers’ requests for help

*be able to filter by game, server, character type, language, expansion etc
*able to receive messages from new gamers regarding their packages

*able to receive payment for successful completion of contract as signed off on by new gamer.

*Ability to leave reviews for new gamers friendliness, punctuality, communication etc

Usage steps and functions for new gamers
* Signup to create a "new gamer user account" on the platform
* A page where they can see a list of experienced gamers on the platform and their packages/rates
They will be able to interactively filter the list of gamers by experience, cost, game name, and other properties (server, level, class/race of character, language, time zone)
* A messaging tool that allows them to discuss and negotiate package prices or hourly rates

*the ability to hire experienced gamers either hourly or by package

*ability to leave a review of the experienced gamer (friendliness, completeness of service, punctuality, etc)

*Ability to tip experienced gamer

*Ability to create specific requests (i.e. Need help running through Dungeon ‘X’, or Need Help completing ‘X’ quest etc

All this functionality has already been discussed with the developer and they are ready to start building as soon as I can come up with the funds. It will be an $8,000-$10,000 build and need $25,000 for marketing initially.
