Producing an accessory clamp for beach catamarans to allow seriously needed accessories to be temporarily attached. Accessories such as cooler racks, and electric motor mounts.
1. What we do: Gaian Innovations provides enhanced sailing experience with added critical accessories for safety and convenience.
2. Niche Market size: According to Hobie’s website there are over 170,000 beach catamarans viable in the world today. With minor adjustments we can also service NACRA, PRINDLE etc. If 5% of them purchase my Racks that would be 8500 customers that spend $300 on their 1st purchase ~= $2.55M.
3. Market Growth: As of today there is NOTHING on the market close to our products. All accessories utilize the same clamps (simplicity). We have over 5 accessories in stages of development, that many customers will come back to purchase.
4. How Monetize? We have a conservative estimate 200% margin on the clamps, and 150% on the KoolKat Racks. That is $150 per set of clamps, and $150 per rack. There are over 100 Hobie16 fleets in the world, word of mouth is strong inside each fleet.
5. Current Traction: Our domain name is Betterbeachboats.com, we have two patents, and are printing our final clamp prototypes in Q3 of 2023. The final KoolKat Rack prototype Q3 also. FINAL testing to be done Q3-Q4 of 2023.
6. Team highlights: Born out of necessity, it is easy for anyone to understand the need to bring STUFF with you on the water. Most beach catamarans have NO PLACE for gear; not to mention any kind of motor. Our next patent will be an electric motor mount that provides the safety of control when sailors do not have it, and most desperately need it!
