As a former chef, I started a juice bar in Wicker Park. We focus on healthy, superfood and adaptogen smoothies and organic cold pressed juices. I want to be the neighborhoods first and only health shop and supply vitamins, supplements, literature and wellness opportunities. The responses from my customers have been gratitude and appreciation for being the only healthy option on our street that isn’t a part of a large corporate chain.
As a result, our products are more handcrafted, unique, and give people their boost or remedies as needed. We are more like a juice boutique rather than a corporate lifeless chain.
My business grows everyday but I would like expand to O’Hare as a representative of a local Chicago business, not only to offer our services, but to then bring more publicity and awareness to our Wicker Park location.
Our customers are all walks of life , with a predominance in their mid 20s through 60s in age. I would offer healthy bowls and salads as well as unique pastries and desserts. I want to make this location at the airport mostly vegan/vegetarian, which will set me apart from almost every restaurant at the airport. I find it will fill a void that is missing for travelers that prefer to eat healthy and nourishing while traveling .
