From not showing up when they are supposed to, to overcharging and under-delivering their services, but not Fully Involved Pools -- its in our company culture to outshine and outperform the competition.


The Business
Fully Involved Pool Care is a startup business based in lower Alabama (Baldwin and Mobile County), which aspirations to be the premiere pool company and be setup for expansion in the form of franchising all throughout the Gulf Coast and eventually all parts of the US. Much like other pool companies, they service a small area and then once they reach the point of growth, they begin to expand. In my experience, this growth is generally slow because they do not plan for the expansion at the beginning stages of the business. Whereas, we anticipate accelerated growth within 2-3 years of being in operation.

Our services include cleaning, servicing and repairing pools and pool equipment; offering a B2C shopping experience with same day delivery. The ability for our current customers and future customers to order from our online store and receive items locally on the same day or next day, is going to make us well above the competition. Another advantage is the ability for us to not lock our residential customers into a yearly contract and instead, a true month-to-month model. We feel that if we aren't doing our job and living up to the service we provide to our customers, then they should have the ability to fire us. Everything hinges on the fact that we care about our clients and their pools, therefore we make it our business to be top tier in customer satisfaction and 5.0 or 10/10 on our satisfaction rating, while also providing services as a professional and reasonable cost (lower than our competition).


The Market
Within Baldwin and Mobile County, there are over 25,000 homeowners who have a pool; at 10% this would be roughly 2500 potential clients to service their pool and spa on a weekly routine. This number does not include commercial properties which would add an additional 100-250 properties of potential customers.
As for repairing or servicing pool equipment, there is a large demand of customers needing help and not receiving it in a timely or professional manner.

There is an estimated $75,000,000 market in our area, at just 10% this would be 7,500,000, and our anticipated goal in first years target is to be at 1% match or $750,000 with a 3% match for year 2, 8% match for year 3.

The initial investment could yield a 2-3x ROI by year 2.

Progress/Proof of Concept
The competition is the proof.
There are about 15 other pool cleaning companies in the area, that have been in business from 2-15 years. The older businesses, are not focusing on growth, only sustaining. The new businesses aren't able to keep up with the demand of the market and eventually will also get to the point of no growth. Whereas our company will be built with expansion in mind, devoted to already having documentation, process mapping, training and a digital arsenal of resources to not only make the customer experience superior, but will make it easier to franchise and expand the operations of the company easily.
 

The Future and our Objectives
This is a start up company -- we are looking for initial funding so that we can put our business on the map and purchase equipment, train new employees and develop  our rapport with the community.
During our first year in business, we will be planting the flat necessary to overtake our competition and market. Fully Involved Pools (Fully Involved Pool Care) will be a household name that the community can trust and we aim to deliver with superior customer service, unparalleled industry knowledge, unmatched training and continued education for our pool technicians. By year 2, we will be in growth mode, more customers, more employees, more locations. At this point with our rapid expansion we will be looking to open up 1-2 more locations.

What makes us different than the competition?

 1.)
Quality Employees and Unmatched Training and Expertise Available. Other pool companies don't "train" their employees. The training is figure it out on your own, or follow what this person does. The quality of the employee isn't there either, as the pay is lower to take advantage of the profit margins. While this may be a smart play for a business owner, it reduces your QoS; making more consumers leave and look elsewhere. 

2.) Technological advantage. We want our customers to know through technical channels everything about their pool and service. Unmatched real-time communication. 

3.)  We actually care. Many pool companies don't care that they take advantage of their customer, but we do.
