This is Peter Murphy of Las Vegas, Nevada. Many positive things are transpiring with my current success in screenwriting.

I am reaching out to ask for financial assistance with an investment. Currently, the development executives at Angel Studios have asked

me to produce a scene from my current script called "Forest For The Trees". The overall scene is estimated at $63,000. to film and produce it.

I have the screenplay, budget, studio requirements, pitch deck, logline, synopsis, script notes, and all information available within this package

for investors to review upon request.

The plan is to film a particular scene from the script and submit it to the Angel Studios (Acceleration Department) and guild members for their approval.

Angel Studios calls this type of specific scene submission to their guild and executives a 'Torch Reel'. Once the 'Torch Reel' is approved by

the guild it will be given a 'green light' on the project to move forward. I currently have a film crew assembled to produce this quality scene for Angel Studios

within a couple of months. All the while, Angel Studios wants to know if I'm a good fit to work with for future screenwriting ventures.

I'm seeking a long-term relationship with Angel Studios.

My friend and business partner, Rudy Ruettiger (from the "Rudy" movie of 1993 / rudyinternational.com), is promoting, sponsoring, and endorsing this project.

Rudy Ruettiger is the Executive Producer on this 'Forest For The Trees". Rudy opened the doors for Angel Studios to become interested in this project and

asked us to produce a 'Torch Reel'.

I have been informed by professional industry readers that I have a unique voice of being a great storyteller. Much of my success has been

contributed to my screenwriting competitions and script awards. This script "Forest For The Trees" is getting great recognition as a thriller, mystery,

and suspense story with the 'David and Goliath' plot.

I appreciate you taking the time to read this letter and consider this an opportunity for all of us to shine in the Hollywood lights of a hit movie showing

more about the timber industry. It’s a much safer feeling with this type of investment showing and explaining the overall logging and timber

industry rather than investing your money with state, local or national politicians. It feels right to support a film showing a family business competing

against the large corporations in the timber industry.

Please feel free to reach out with any further questions and information.

Sincerely,

Peter Murphy

Logline
When the patriarch of a family-owned timber business is mysteriously murdered, his fierce widow takes the helm, battling corporate sharks, internal family conflicts, all the while trying to keep their business alive in the rugged wilderness of Oregon.

Overview / Synopsis:
"Forest for the Trees" is a riveting drama set against the raw, natural beauty of Oregon, and is a family's tale of resilience and revenge. At its heart, we have McLean Family, an independent and privately run family timber company. The story is kickstarted by a chilling incident involving Sean McLean, the family patriarch, who encounters saboteurs damaging his logging equipment, leading to a scuffle. With Sean's sudden disappearance and the subsequent discovery of his murder, his wife Holly is left in charge of both their business and the investigation into Sean's death.

Holly steps into her husband's work boots, she's faced with the local timber business's undercurrents and the ruthless attempts of the opportunistic Charles Barton, who wants to devour their logging company. Meanwhile, the McLean sons, Liam, Michael, and Ryan, harbor distinct visions for the future of their timber business, adding to the family tension. The McLean’s have their victory when they expose the politician Clark Miller as the mastermind behind their father's murder. With justice served and the McLean Logging Company up and running, Holly's leadership promises a bright future.
