A family driven business here to serve our local community with medic fast service and food that has you dying to come back for more.

Our local community workers and students on campus are hungry. They're hungry for new lunch options that are fast, fresh, and reasonably priced. Our freshly made ,unique food is not currently available in our current market.

Our Food Medic truck offers fresh, delicious, and inexpensive Brisket burgers, Chicken sandwiches and other regional favorites. Our very own cooks have worked day and night researching and creating recipes that have been sampled by some of our local community members. Our Food Medic has been highly involved with our community over his lifetime and has made many friends/connections which creates various location options to popup and serve our community. There are many great locations for the "Food Medic" to be able to schedule at various locations throughout the month, which will ensure we are available to the entire community. Making sure to schedule time near several of the universities will draw a crowd  of campus students and family during many of the campuses special occasions throughout the year. Our food truck is tri-state approved which gives us options to expand our business in the future.

With endless possibilities of  locations, we are well suited to serve three core groups: downtown office workers, students on campus, and the weekend crowds out for an evening of entertainment. Our research suggests that those three segments together represent a pool of more than 15,000 potential customers per day. Factoring  in the broad decline of the fast-food industry, the complementary rising popularity of fast-casual options, the cool factor attached to innovative food trucks, and strong  growth in food trucks,  makes for a great opportunity here.

Our Food Medic truck offers fresh, delicious, and inexpensive Brisket burgers, Chicken sandwiches and other regional favorites. Having a mobile truck and community connections ensures we can schedule at various locations and reach the entire community.

We expect to serve an average of 20 customers per hour during year 1 and increase to 25 customers per hour in year 2. Our hand crafted dishes will be prepped daily which will ensure freshness and  with many options being made on demand.  Saturday and Sunday evenings are expected to be less busy as many workers and students are home however it allows for planning special events or caterings.  We are expecting 15  customers per hour in year 1 on Saturday and Sunday evenings and 20 customers in year 2. The average customer will spend  around $15 per visit for year 1 and $18 per visit  for year 2. In year 2, we will be incorporating daily drink specials and will be working to obtain our liquor license. This will allow us to  sell local craft beer during weekend events or special catering events.

In our first two years we are projecting $196,000 in revenue  and  $246,000 in revenue with a 26% profit margin. The first year we are expecting  food supplies to be our highest expense however  payroll costs will be minimal as both owners will be running the food truck and smoothing out kinks in our processes. As things ramp up, we will bring aboard a couple of employees to assist. Fuel expenses should be minimal as we plan on leaving the truck onsite when possible and having  minimal needs to travel outside of our scheduled events. We will have a modest advertising budget as much of our marketing will be word of mouth and no-cost social media. With purchasing a new truck we expect to have less than a $1000 in yearly maintenance and repairs the first 5 years.
