Flooring Simple

In 2020 I opened Eagle Mountain’s first flooring store.  Flooring Simple offers a beautifully updated showroom and simplified design experience in the heart of The Ranches area of Eagle Mountain, one of the fastest growing cities in the state of Utah.  

The majority of our sales currently come from Carpet and LVP, although we are in the process of adding cabinets and countertops to our services.  All of these offerings allow for a 30%-40% margin while still maintaining a competitive edge in the industry.  The city of Eagle Mountain gives us a fantastic local customer base with a variety of projects from new builds and basement finishes to remodels.  But with the right team, support and mentorship, we are centrally located enough to be able to pursue a larger customer base.  

We have a trained and growing team along with vetted, licensed and insured installers to ensure we can maintain our 4.8 star rating we’ve earned through our 150+ google reviews.  Quality and longevity are important to us, which is why I am serious about building a high accountability culture that begins with me.  

It is important to me that we serve the community that supports us.  We are in the process of setting up a program called “Restore the Floor” allowing members of our community to nominate deserving local families to receive new flooring at no cost to them.  Our goal is to be able to build up this program to be able to help local families with free new flooring every quarter.

We have secured a local 4,500 square foot warehouse equipped with our own racking systems, forklift and carpet cutter that allows us to stock products and inventory.  This is essential to build our partnerships with builders to further diversify our customer base and increase growth.

My company  easily has the potential to be a consistent bread and butter business for years to come, but with the right partner we are primed for exciting growth.  I am looking to sell a portion of my business to the right partner/investor who is looking for a turnkey business ready to reach the next level of success and a partner who is eager to learn. I am extremely excited at the prospect of gaining mentorship to guide me towards unlocking the potential of this business I have begun to build.  I have become an avid reader as I am hungry to learn and understand the need to lead by example.
