We are a mobile food truck serving fresh, made to order bar food. Our deep fried items are fried in our homemade batter, Jeff's Naked Batter. Primarily we set up at 2 local bars, one that hosts pool tournaments and the other hosts live cover bands. We cater private events, like grand openings and FLETC events, and attend local festivals and rodeos. Philly Cheesesteaks and Smashburgers are our most popular items along with our deep fried items, eggplant, chicken strips, onion rings, and pickles. Grilled chicken sandwiches, grilled chicken spring mix salad, sausage and peppers, hotdogs, tater tots, and mozzarella sticks are also available. All food is made fresh to order and our batter is lite, tasty, and unique.
Jeff Arnot is our chef and creator of Jeff's Naked Batter. He has over 30 years experience as a cook and business owner. Stephanie Walker is the founder of Flip Flop Foods. The idea for our truck came about by watching an episode of Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives on The Food Network. There was a feature on food trucks and the one setup outside a bar made sense to us because we shoot pool regularly at a bar that doesn't serve food. Everyone either brings food in or orders delivery. Our food truck solved that problem for the customers.
Having 6 dogs at home, we have also started making small batches of dog treats called Paw Treats. We would like to market that in stores as well.
Our goal is to raise more to upgrade to a commercial countertop deep fryer, a used 3/4 ton pickup, and package our batter to market to grocery stores and online. Packaging at this point is our biggest unknown. A size hasn't been determined for packaging but labels and a logo have been printed. We also need to trademark our brand. There are a few small grocery stores and local markets we could sell in as well as several online platforms.
