I still have to complete, edit and test the functionality of this site, but it is almost done. However I ran out of funding when a government contract that I had with the DOD was defunded. I have owned a business for 6 years and have done well with it. However, I want to branch out and open this new business that I am more passionate about. I am looking for funding to launch and market this site as well as to hire initial customer service reps. This site is similar to Etsy and will be in competition with Etsy. Businesses will be able to sell the same things etsy does on my site. In addition, I am adding categories of new inventions so any new inventor can market and sell their creations on my platform. I am also adding a food and drink categories. With this anyone can order a meal from a restaurant from all over America or they can order rare mushrooms for a new recipe. On the site if you click on food then click on bread, you will see every type of bread they could purchase and this gives people new ideas to try new things. You could also search for craft beers or liquor to try. Please check the site out. My plan to add businesses is to do a lot of social media marketing and i plan to go to craft fairs and farmers markets to recruit new shops to open up. I am charging $55 per month plus 2% commission on each product sold.

My platform fees will be lower then Etsys and also since my site is only American made there will be less chance of sellers getting buried and never seen like small business do on etsy. Etsy makes over 2 billion per year and made pretty well their first year. That is what I am striving to do and I know this will be a good investment.
