. Fill the Gaps in Lung Cancer is dedicated to addressing systemic problems that lead to delayed diagnoses, overlooked genetic mutations, and restricted access to life-saving clinical trials. The organization advocates for earlier screenings, ongoing biomarker testing, and travel support for patients in underserved communities. We assist patients with travel expenses so they can participate in clinical trials. We have just formed a partnership with a major Cancer Center in the Northeast who has three lung cancer patients that need to travel from the Midwest to join a lung cancer clinical trial in New York. This marks a significant milestone for Fill the Gaps, as it serves as our Proof of Concept before we seek additional partnerships. Sheila underwent several genetic tests before discovering a gene mutation, which opened the door to multiple clinical trials. These trials involved visits to various cancer institutions, including University CA Irvine, UCLA, Cedars Sinai-Los Angeles, and consultations at Sloan Kettering in New York. Ultimately, the true goal of Fill the Gaps is to provide others with the same opportunities Sheila has and continues to work with some of the best cancer institutions to maintain an active life while undergoing cancer treatment,
