Filidh Publishing Corp

Filidh Publishing Corp, a small local publisher producing softcover and ebook versions and events (book fairs and a conference for writers and readers). Been in business since 2001, 70 authors and 65 titles later, we have discovered events and can't keep up with the workload.   

We are expanding on successful conference programming, hosting book fairs in additional communities, offering author promo tours, translating titles into other languages and producing audiobooks. Retail and wholesale books are a source of revenue, but events and publishing piece work are a larger source.  Currently coordinating a Writers' Retreat (Oct 6 to 8) in Campbell River, BC  and needing sponsorship as registrations begin to arrive and advertising dollars add up.  Also successfully recruiting vendors for five trade shows in BC over the next six months.

Current income is dependent on what events are happening that month.  Annual has been under $10K, until now.
