FareRyder is an eco-friendly ryde-share company based in Washington, D.C. FareRyder was established in 2018 in order to provide a ryde-share service that was eco-friendly and cares more about taking care of their drivers.
FareRyder is a veteran-owned and black-owned company. FareRyder operated for months just before the pandemic, and the CEO of the company was ordered to deploy. During that time, FareRyder made User Interface Changes from version 2.0 to version 5.0.2. The CEO has made the decision to open up FareRyder to other drivers as well, but with the goal of at least an 80/20 split of Electric and Hybrid/Gas vehicles respectively.
FareRyder currently has 16,000 customers and over 300 drivers, however, we are ready to expand to other cities.
Programs that make us unique are our FarePay model as well as our FarePair. FarePay allows us to pay the customer a percentage of each ride that is taken by someone referred. This incentive cuts down on advertising costs. In addition, our FarePair model will allow customers to pair up with individual drivers that they feel comfortable with.
