Looking to open a family friendly arcade in my area. I live near Jim Thorpe, PA, which is a tourist attraction, but other than the train station and river, there is not anything fun for children or families to do in the area; they would have to drive over an hour.

3. Problem - What problem is there and how big is the market?
Carbon county does not have a single arcade or indoor play area designated for kids or that is family friendly. There is one indoor playground in the neighboring county; however,it is not enough to accommodate the growing child population. There has been increased crime activity in the area simply because kids do not have anything else that is “fun” to occupy their time.
4. Solution - How do you uniquely solve that problem
This arcade can assist in decreasing youth crime rates by giving them a place to relax and simply be kids. It can also assist in decreasing crime rates by giving them an area to release their energy and enthusiasm in a positive way.
5. Business Model - How do you make money?
Guests would be able to purchase reusable/ rechargeable game cards, which stores their credits until they are used on a game. The game card is essentially like a debit card. The more credits that the consumer purchases, the greater the discount they will receive, which is an incentive for them to purchase more. We also plan on hosting parties and events.

6. Competition - Who is already in the market.
There is currently an indoor playground in the surrounding county, Climb-a-lot clubhouse, that only accommodates children up to the age of 10.
7. Your Vision - How will your company own the market?
This arcade offers an intimate environment for families and friends to hangout and have fun. There is a little something for everyone; this is a family- friendly space offering games for children and adults that aligns with their interests. This arcade is open 7 days a week and offers affordable pricing. It is conveniently located on main roads name, which makes it easily accessible. 8. Traction - What have you already achieved?
Project planning in place; however nothing is set in stone until funding is received. Depending on how much is received will determine the place, the place/ location that will be leased and the number of games that will be purchased.
9. Funding Ask - How much do you need to achieve your vision.
I am looking for approximately $500K to achieve my vision.
10. Projections - What does winning look like if it all works out.
If everything works out, I look to expand the arcade by adding more games suited for both adults and children. I also look to establish a restaurant to accompany the arcade. I also wish to establish a sensory area for children diagnosed with autism and for other kids to escape to calm down. I want the establishment to be autism certified.
