$3M to put climate positive food on the market--the next big thing after organics.

Agriculture is a major contributor to the climate change crisis. The food and ag market is ready to be disrupted by the next big thing after organics--food certified climate positive. This requires a carbon negative cropping system. Climate positive food can be produced with just the right mix of existing technology. But producing that first certified climate positive piece of food will require substantial investment to prove the concept. This includes growing, processing, marketing and distributing food products to satisfy the huge unmet demand by consumers to vote with their wallets to fix the climate crisis.

Between 2000 and 2021, organic was a $7.8 - $221B global market. There have been $46B in organic sector M&A deals 1997-present. With an average deal size of $1.4B.
All with an organic market share of 1-4% 1990-present. Certified climate positive food will follow a similar trajectory.
