Evon Medics, Inc. is a clinical-stage neurotechnology company pioneering a new class of non-invasive, adaptive therapeutics designed to restore brain function in Alzheimer's disease and other neurological disorders. Our flagship platform, Computerized Olfactory Adaptive Training (COAT™), combines neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and precision sensory stimulation to engage the brain's memory circuits through the olfactory pathway—one of the few direct biological gateways to the entorhinal cortex and hippocampus, the regions affected earliest in Alzheimer's disease.
COAT™ is not a fragrance or smell-training device. It is an intelligent, closed-loop neurotechnology platform that continuously personalizes therapy based on each patient's performance and response. Through proprietary adaptive algorithms, precisely controlled olfactory stimulation is dynamically optimized to maintain neural engagement while avoiding habituation, enabling a personalized, non-invasive therapy that patients can use safely and conveniently at home.
Our approach addresses a fundamental limitation of current Alzheimer's therapies. While today's treatments primarily target disease biomarkers, COAT is designed to directly engage dysfunctional neural circuits associated with memory and cognition. In a randomized, double-blind, sham-controlled clinical trial involving individuals with early Alzheimer's disease and mild cognitive impairment, COAT demonstrated statistically significant improvements in cognition, MRI evidence consistent with preservation and increases in gray matter volume within memory-related brain regions, excellent treatment adherence, and a favorable safety profile without serious device-related adverse events. These findings were published in Alzheimer's & Dementia: Translational Research & Clinical Interventions, providing independent peer-reviewed validation of the technology.
Evon Medics is building more than a single product—we are developing a scalable neurotechnology platform. Our portfolio includes therapeutic devices, digital diagnostics, and precision brain-health technologies spanning Alzheimer's disease, cognitive assessment, chronic pain, substance use disorders, and other neurological conditions. This platform strategy enables multiple products to leverage shared neuroscience, software, artificial intelligence, clinical infrastructure, and intellectual property.
The global need for accessible neurological care continues to grow while existing treatment models remain expensive, resource-intensive, and difficult to scale. COAT is designed as a home-based therapeutic platform that can integrate into both specialty memory clinics and community healthcare settings, creating the potential to expand patient access while supporting a recurring revenue model through durable hardware, software, and consumable components.
Founded by Johns Hopkins-trained neuropsychiatrist and translational neuroscientist Dr. Evaristus Nwulia, Evon Medics is supported by multiple National Institutes of Health-funded programs, peer-reviewed scientific publications, strategic academic collaborations, and an expanding intellectual property portfolio. Our mission is to transform neurological care by making scientifically validated, non-invasive neurotechnology accessible to millions of patients worldwide while establishing a new standard for restoring brain function through precision neuromodulation.
