But as the owner, my top priority will be taking care of all the people. Meaning I want my customers to be happy but I believe the best way to do that is through happy and healthy employees. I come from 22 years of working at a large corporation where making money was the only priority. While making money is important, I have learned if you take care of your people first, making money will naturally happen. Happy & healthy employees are able to display their feelings through customer service, they will also stay in their position longer creating lower turnover. Lower turnover also creates more money because the business is not constantly having to train new people. I want a business where my employees want to come to work loving what they do and knowing I am approachable if they have ideas or problems they need to address.
