Essential Companion Services LLC is a Nurse Registry (Agency) in Orlando Florida. We contract with nurses, home health aides, and homemaker/companions to provide home Healthcare for seniors and staffing for health care facilities. We are licensed to serve 4 counties, Orange, Brevard, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Using the business model below we grossed 612k last year, which was only our 2nd year as a Nurse Registry.
Business Model
1. Medicaid all services billed through Humana, Florida Community Care, Simply Healthcare, Sunshine health, and Integrated Home care services.
2. Private insurance information is collected and verified at the start of care and billed to the insurance company.
3. Private pay or out-of-pocket, a deposit equal to 2 weeks of the agreed monthly amount will be paid to the agency before any assignment starts.
4. As a private pay client, the billing cycle is weekly, and the acceptable payment is a check or money order or credit card. Only billed for services received.
5. A copy of the billing invoice will be attached for reference purposes. It will show the period in which are being billed.
6. If payment has not been received for two billing cycles, services may be stopped, and the account will be sent for collection.
A 200k investment will allow us to hire a management team and employees to help organize and expand the business. We need the latest technology for our website and apps to register and track our caregivers with ease and accuracy. We need recruiters so that we can be constantly engaging the finest caregivers to be able to accept all available clients from our Medicaid payors in all 4 counties and capitalize on travel jobs around the nation. This is a constant cycle of registering qualified new healthcare workers. A dedicated sales team is necessary to go into our hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities to promote our caregivers and build relationships with the healthcare community. All healthcare facilities have call outs and need exceptional Nurses and Cna's or Hha's to fill in as temporary staff. Essential Companion Services LLC wants to be the agency they all call when they need medical staff. We need a dedicated social worker to provide guidance to our clients and share resources in the community that they all need. A social worker also helps to build relationships with facilities, physicians and a large network of social workers here in Florida whose priority is getting the best care for the individuals in need most. My wife and I have started something we care about deeply and we are at a point where we need help of industry professionals to help us scale.
