I am the go-to in Kansas City for salon employment, creating a locally well known platform where industry members who are hiring or seeking a new opportunity goes to find what they are looking for.

https://www.enlightenedhire.com/ had a soft launch in August and began to implement the program locally in October, 2022. We collect several statistics- hiring preferences from salon professionals and owners in order to provide clarity in hiring to reduce turnover with our system. The ease of connectivity and effective recruitment has proven to be a breath of fresh air to not only owners but applicants and a drastic improvement upon current hiring and recruiting practices.
High turnover plagues our industry, much of this is due to not understanding or communicating what they want need and prefer in hiring. Salon pros get distracted by the pretty things or great social media and get into situations they are not well suited for. Inexperience and lack of knowledge on where best-fit opportunities are play a big part in decision making on where applicants decide to work. Owners struggle to effectively recruit and understand who they are hiring and how they fit into their business model. Our workplace assessment allows users to clarify and identify what works best for them in an ideal situation- an unheard of concept in our industry. Users take the results of their assessment and compare it against the opposite side of hiring to understand where they fit best, and where they don't in order to make informed decisions about their careers.
We currently have 540 owners on our platform and 635 applicants, from across the US and Canada with the largest numbers in Kansas City, where I started my business. We house our jobs (temporarily) on
Salonspa Connection's website due to this feature not being fully developed. Our Schools program is almost ready which will bring in thousands of new salon professionals looking for jobs and capture their information at the onset of their careers. We have just launched an affiliate program which will empower salon professionals, consultants and members of the industry to recruit for us on localized levels. We are in talks with large salon consultant groups who have owners that are hiring to get them into our system. I have recently made several influential connections to work with in a partnership in getting more users into our program.
With the offerings of our software and the data we collect, there is limitless income potential and additional features we can add to our program. The data we collect is one of a kind and very valuable to corporations such as product companies . Our customers are salon, spa and barbershop owners. Salon professionals are free unless they would like our detailed reports on owners which are $7.99 each. Schools and students are 100% free and their program includes job placement, career education and assistance in keeping NACCUS accreditation. We offer 3 options for monthly subscriptions based on how many applicants owners would like to review or 4 "pay as you go" options.
For owners-
Standard subscription: $17.99 per month or $193 per year. This allows up to 2 applicants per month.
Premium subscription: $39.99 per month or $407.90 per year. This allows up to 8 applicants per month.
Enterprise subscription: $250 per month or $2400 per year. This is an unlimited applicant allowance for up to 10 locations.

Most owners are always hiring, especially with the shortage of applicants. Gone are the days where a 30 day job listing cuts it. We allow owners who are hiring to connect to applicants at anytime, no time limit on a job listing which directly serves the need for ongoing hiring and recruiting. Owners are unable to connect to their applicant without monetization allowing us to monetize owners anytime they are hiring.
