Executive Summary:
Understanding structures and composition below ground is an important element of business for certain industries like pipeline companies, highway construction, gas and oil industry, public utility and agriculture. However, no economical and accurate option to analyze subsurface composition exists today. Empact.AI solves the problem through a SaaS solution that uses deployed sensors and AI algorithms to predict subsurface and composition. We take “underground” out of “underground operation”.
Empact.AI:
Empact.AI technology has developed a novel AI software that uses a fundamental mapping of sensor response to sub-surface components and data gathered through magnetic or electromagnetic sensors to produce a 3D view of sub-surface structures. Not-only can it predict the structure very effectively but also gives insight on the physical characteristics of such structures like level of corrosion etc. The same technology can be further developed to understand soil characteristics like moisture levels, soil composition, fertilizer analysis etc. that, which could make precision agriculture so much easier.
To use our software, all we require is an electromagnetic survey of the land. This could be done by using any existing electromagnetic instrument on a drone and our software takes care of the rest. Empact.AI’s software with its un-paralleled accuracy is a dramatic improvement on existing technology.
We plan to develop a SaaS based market model that can be easily applied across various markets.
Market:
We can look into the market in three distinct categories.
a) Pipeline inspection market: Natural Gas pipelines are an important part of our national infrastructure and requires inspection and maintenance against leaks and corrosion. The market is currently estimate to be ~ $ 0.7 B and estimate to reach ~ $ 1 B by 2030.
b) Subsurface utility market: Investigation of buried utilities that is required before any public utility works, highway construction, gas and oil drilling etc. It is a $ 1 B market growing at ~9% annually.
c) Precision Agriculture: Use of technology to increase agricultural yield. The technology can be used for soil testing, moisture level analysis and soil fertilizer analysis. Soil testing is a new fast growing market that is expected to reach a $ 7 B market by 2026
Go to Market Status:
The Go to market status is shown below. Our main technology for pipeline testing is currently developed. We are currently working on field testing the technology. Funding is required for this stage of development. Thereafter, we will wrap our technology under a SaaS framework and take it to market. We expect to take our technology to market in 2022.
Investment Request:
$ 50,000 for carrying out field testing and setting up the SAAS framework for our technology
