My name is Ethan Schroeder. I am 29 years old and live in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I have been doing concrete for just over 10 years, 6 years of it on the side, last 4 years as my own business. In those 6 years of doing it on the side, I did a 5 year apprenticeship through Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 400 to obtain my journeyman steamfitters license.  I've owned ECS Concrete Construction LLC. for the last 4 years running it full time, because of the amount of requests for my stamped concrete work, it made sense to go out on my own. I started this company with a 2005 Ford F-150, a magnesium float, and a rake. I now have grown at a good rate, but to keep up with efficiency,  having all the proper equipment, work trucks and pumps to run everything in house. My goal one day is to buy a Somero 3-D laser screed to do large parking lots and floors. The laser screed is $250k for the machine itself and then a one time purchase of the 3-D program itself for $250k. A $500k piece of equipment that can pay itself off in 2, maybe 3 parking lot projects. When my company is not using it, I would have 3 different guys trained on it so we can rent it out to other contractors, and keep the income coming in since not many people have equipment like this, especially in the Green Bay, Fox Valley area.  I also want to do the same thing with an in-line concrete pump, have it accessible at all times for our wall projects and larger floor projects, and then rent it out to other contractors while we are not using it.  Looking to expand my company, especially with the high demand of my stamped concrete work, we offer the following services. Residential and Commercial: Flatwork, Walls, Footings, Retaining walls, patios, driveways, garage floors, aprons, stamped concrete, steps, epoxy floor coatings, concrete counter tops, wheel-chair ramps & pretty much anything concrete related.

We are a very family oriented business & I take pride in taking care of my employee's, paying them an above average wage, and we are focused to attention to detail at every step of the process.  I run 90% of this company by myself, and I work in the field with my guys every chance I can get, to make sure everything is perfect and nothing goes wrong. I am seeking financial help so I can have a little breathing room, be able to hire more office people to make this efficient as possible & to just have the right equipment to make money and keep everything flowing smoothly. Renting equipment is tough and very expensive, If I can finally own some of these pieces of equipment,  I can keep the income coming through 24/7 by renting it to other contractors.

I currently have a 2014 CAT 279D track skid steer, a 2024 Toro Track powered concrete buggy, 2022 Ram 2500 & a 2015 Chevy Express Van 2500. Having one more work truck would help with efficiency tremendously.  I "freelance" all my own work by word of mouth and advertising. I have a VERY good reputation within my company and I am known for out of this world professional craftsmen-ship. I do not marry myself to contractors or home builders who want to pay a very little price per sqft rate to do their work. I know the value of our professional craftsmen-ship and will never sell myself or my guys short.

I have never had a hand out in my life, I have built and created everything I have in front of me on my own, from getting a $200k loan WITHOUT a co-signer at 20 years old to buy my first house with 6 acres, that is currently my house and shop for my business. I know it takes money, to make money and I am ready to grow my business to the next level, hoping one day I can bring a division of my stamped concrete down south during the winter months in the higher-end neighborhoods of Georgia & Florida because they don't do stamp work down there, the way we do it up here in the Mid-west. I am also working on creating a larger social media presence, doing daily films and posting content about our trade and what we do each and everyday, to hopefully get big enough one day that sponsors reach out to me and my company, wanting to be featured or advertised in my videos. I have many goals, many dreams. I am working my tail off each and everyday to try and make enough money to keep putting back into my business to grow it larger and larger each day.  I hope you find this message well, that I am not looking for a handout, I am seeking financial help so I can take my business a lot further to the top and bring all the people who have been with me since day one, along with me.
