Econo Lighting Solutions

Econo Lighting Solutions is commercial lighting company that offers high quality LED lighting materials with top tier installation services to go with it. In the short two years we’ve been in business we have landed contracts with numerous commercial entities that range from box retail stores, small retail stores, general office buildings, warehouses, local, state and currently in multiple federal office buildings. 

I have been an electrician for 11 years and have been in sales for 5 years. With these two combinations I saw an opportunity to take advantage of good timing and a fast moving political landscape when it comes to energy efficiency standards and start a business that offers materials and services surrounding commercial lighting that helps save American businesses money on their increasingly high electric utility bills.

We start our process by running audits on a facility. We’ll then use the information collected to come up with an Annual Savings sheet. We’ll choose a lighting solution that we think works best for both the work place and the check book. We’ll then show how much money can be saved with the proposed lighting solutions and then we’ll create an estimate to perform the installation that lays out the cost of materials and the installation. Once a price has been set, an ROI is created based on the cost of goods and the annual savings and any rebate  incentives associated with the project.

Once a project is complete, we’ll check in with the customer a few months down the road  to confirm that they are seeing the savings that we promised. If we find that they are not seeing the savings that we promised, we’ll propose a different solution and install  them at zero cost on both the the material and labor side. 

We pride ourselves on being the best in the upper Midwest when it comes to lighting retrofits. Not only will we save you time and money with a new lighting system install, but we’ll be there throughout the lifetime of the products to insure that they uphold the standards that we say they will. 

The money that I am requesting will be going towards paying qualified part time employees to run lighting audits in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska and Oregon. 

The remaining money will be used to purchase scissor lifts and trailers, as well as inventory for future projects and working capital to pay for other overhead expenses and subcontractors involved.
