Our vision is to create a recycling and sustainability nonprofit that benefits Children Cancer foundations.  The focus will involve our organization partnering with various trade vendors, suppliers, utility companies, some retail outlets and construction companies to divert materials that are normally thrown away into recycling programs.  Collected items will be sorted and lightly processed for maximum salvage value.  The funds from the collected waste streams will be distributed to foundations that directly fund or facilitate Child Cancer treatments.  The process will benefit both the environmental health of local communities and children in need of immediate cancer treatment care.  Through experience we can expect our waste streams to be in the tonnage annually and results will be impactful.   Copper4Cancer will host a website that tracks the types of materials collected, amounts of materials recycled, and the distribution of funds to qualifying charitable foundations.   The totals will be updated on a quarterly basis and photos will be uploaded for a visual enhancement of our efforts.  Our first location will be in the Northern Delaware/Philadelphia region, and we will market new territories as we grow.  The collection request for $300,000 in startup funds will be utilized for the following needs:  Legal filings, website hosting, state/ regional permits and licensing, environmental regulatory oversight, rent for a suitable commercial facility to house and process items, staffing, and miscellaneous expenses.
Thank you for supporting us on this journey!
