Veteran raising $500K funding to start and open my own gas station. Recently separated from federal employment; however, I have no income coming into my home. Thusly, at this point in my life, I want to work for myself. The gas station I have in mind has been up for lease for over two years in a heavy traffic area. There are two other gas stations on this strip of highway, but on opposing ends; however, my gas station would be center of the two on the strip. It is across the street from McDonald's, Arby, Long John Silvers, and adjacent KFC, so plenty of traffic for customers. I plan to compete with the two other gas stations by making my gas pennies cheaper than their gas stations to drive in customers to my location. I will be the owner and operator with perhaps two employees to start. Currently, I do not have a business plan, but I do have a business degree in Business Administration. I must sign an agreement with the owner for a 10 year lease through his/her/their leasing company. So far, the monthly lease amount would be $2250 for the first year. However, there are overhead for appraisal, three grades of gasoline for the tanks, things that needs to be fixed, and inventory of products to sale. The funding I am asking for is for start-up cost. I will need additional funding perhaps between six to 12 months. I have roughly between a 600 - 640 credit score. I am trilled to have this new opportunity in my life and look forward to making you as investors proud.
