We have our own roll offs for our construction business and now we want to grow that into its own business.
We ended up buying our own rolls offs because it was so hard to find anyone who had them available. Now we still have that problem as other construction companies ask to rent ours, which we do when the plumbing or framing team is not using them.
We are looking to start a business supplying dumpsters to those in commercial settings or residential. Our plan is to offer 1 day, 3 day and 7 day rentals of the cans. A decent used truck is about 80k and the cans are 4 to 6k. The funding will be used to buy the truck and 9 cans to start. Hire someone to build a website and market them for us.
Our goal would be to land in a 12 to 15 percent ROI within 24 months. The cans take 8 weeks to build and deliver to central Nebraska. Which will give us the time to build a site and begin marketing the week the cans are to arrive.
