I intend to create a unique combination of BnB, Horse Motel and full time Horse boarding. Included in the BnB side is a tiny home village for vacation or short-term rental.

Here is a link to a PPT Presentation outlining the project, which I am calling Dreamcatcher Ranch. Detailed Proposal and breakdowns on plans, costs, expenses, and revenues available upon request.

Since I am asking you to invest a significant amount of your money, let me introduce myself and tell you what I am bringing to the table.

My name is Suzanne (Suzi) Salazar. I currently live in Joplin, Missouri.

I intend  to be the hands-on General/Operations Manager for this project. I have managed several small businesses over the years, ranging from restaurants, riding stables, wedding chapels, petting zoos, and retail shops. I have also worked as Logistics Manager for an international traveling Circus. This has given me experience in negotiating contracts, arranging travel, marketing, advertising, and dealing with people from all over the world. I traveled for several years with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus as an Exotic Animal Handler. I have worked in the Customer Service, Entertainment, and Hospitality industries for much of my life.

I intend  to make this a much sought after vacation/short stay destination as well as an elite place to call home for a select few. There is a demand in this area for Extended Stay lodging and short-term leases due to the number of companies and hospitals which frequently hire consultants and short-term contract specialists.

I have experience with aiding several friends get started in their own businesses by helping them with planning, researching, and creating their online presence.

My experience living in the Circus World has taught me that travelling with animals can be extremely complicated. My first-hand knowledge of diverse types of animals' requirements is an advantage in running a Horse Motel for overnight stays. This includes not only the animal’s needs, but familiarity with RV set ups and the owner’s requirements as well. Having run riding stables with 50+ horses (also owning one with 20 for several years) gives me the hands-on experience to handle the clients and their animals in a boarding facility. I know what they want, which will allow me to create the best combination of options and amenities to attract the type of clients who want the best for their horses and are willing to pay top dollar for the convenience.  There are a few horse owners in the area who have a few spaces for rent, (and they usually have  waiting lists)but none have the dedicated level of care and amenities Dreamcatcher Ranch will offer. We will be unique in being primarily a boarding facility, rather than someone's extra space for rent.

My restaurant, customer service, and hospitality experience have given me the tools to handle the BnB side of it from A to Z. From marketing and handling bookings to welcoming them and seeing to their needs during their stay.

All of this has given me a very hands-on management style. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty, literally or figuratively!  I have a team ready to get this project started. Suppliers and contractors on standby to get it up and running within a few short weeks.
