Dreadsock is a premier hair apparel and accessory line designed specifically (but not exclusively) for the dreadlock and natural hair community. We have been organically building the business and brand since 2005. We use the highest quality performance materials for our products. We sell on-line and to high-end salons and boutiques, both retail and wholesale.  We have a large database of customers from all over the world.  Dreadsock is a  registered trademark by the USPTO.  We have proof of concept with sales well over $750k as a part-time business and minimal debt. (under $25k ) Our existing product lines include the Original Dreadsock, (4 sizes) the Headband line, the t-shirt line, and  Lasso line.  Our products have and will get copied. We need representation to protect the proprietary components of our products. The  Visor line, winter beanie line, baseball hat line, and  our bucket hat line (including original accessories) have been developed over the years and are now ready for launch. The goal is to use some of the funds to establish  proper protection and a strategic partner that can help us get first to market .  We have been sourcing our manufacturing out of a factory in Martinsville, Virginia. We have approximately  15k yards of material in storage at the factory.  Our biggest obstacles have been keeping inventory in stock and being able to make purchase orders large enough to get our cut/sew costs down. 

This concept and design of the original Dreadsock did not exist anywhere in the world  until we launched it in 2005. With a 2+  years of intellectual property research and legal assistance we began designing, finding nothing like it on the market.

This is a tier product-line that has been worn by several celebrities and many professional athletes. We are primed for relatively quick growth because demand is high and this niche market is craving an identity brand.
