I have a massive love for Pizza and Calzones for now almost 15 years. I've worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years, and now I want to take on my own venture deep frying Calzones!
Deep Fried Calzones or the American slang a Calzoni- In Italian is Panzerotti. The Calzoni is an Italian street food that is not done hardly in America, with my own dough recipe that I took a year to develop. And my own sauce to match! In my area, I have a huge network from working in the industry already and I have done a lot of 'Calzoni Parties" always looking for criticism. And to my surprise it has always been positive. My plan is to take this common Italian street food and make it into a explosive American Street food with a mobile food trailer for everyone to enjoy. My prices will be very economically sound... its basically a fried pizza pocket, and the sound of that makes it an easy sell in my opinion. As well as being greatly priced, my target audience is gen z and millennials, but also the average family at a brewery festival or food truck rally. My team would consist of my self and my close friend and fellow pizza lover, him and I managed a local pizza shop last year and got our fair share of getting in and then out of the weeds. Being successful at every turn.
